Acts 19 speaks to me of the transforming power of the Holy Spirit on people's lives and also how easily people can get stirred up emotionally and even take action without understanding why or the consequences of their decisions e.g. Rejecting or neglecting God.
Nehemiah 9 recounts the history and journey of the people's relationship with God. I like v33 which describes how in all the ups and down God has been faithful and righteous while we tend to act wickedly.
Thot: how can I better remember all of God's blessings and faithfulness as I face the issues confronting me today?
